When Were They Made?

The Banana Leaf pattern has been produced in various forms since the late 20th century and remains one of Bordallo Pinheiro’s most recognizable and collectible designs. This set appears consistent with pieces produced from the 1990s through early 2000s.

Perhaps these platters once graced a summer gathering on a shaded veranda, piled high with fresh fruit and pastries while family lingered long after the meal was finished. The sculpted banana leaves evoke warm breezes, garden parties, and leisurely afternoons when entertaining was less hurried and every detail mattered. Today, they bring that same sense of hospitality and natural beauty into a new home, ready to become part of another family’s celebrations and traditions.
