Approximate Date

Likely produced between 1955 and 1975, during the height of the Mid-Century Modern and Danish Modern design movement. The sculptural, globe-shaped container, matching spoon, and individual serving dishes are very much in keeping with the Danish Modern and Scandinavian-inspired designs popular during that era.

Picture a 1960s dinner party where fondue pots, jazz records, and candlelight set the mood. This charming serving set may have occupied the center of the table, holding gourmet salts, cocktail snacks, or roasted nuts while guests lingered over conversation late into the evening. Decades later, it still carries that spirit of simple elegance—a reminder of a time when entertaining was less hurried and gathering around the table was an event in itself.
