My name is Jessica, and Desha Craft Designs is the realization of a desire to share my love of vintage items with others and a personal need to form a new path in life. I believe beautiful things deserve thoughtful stewardship. Every piece I curate is cared for as though it were my own—from the excitement of discovering it, to researching its history, gently cleaning and preserving it, and finally placing it into the hands of someone who will cherish it for years to come.
In a world that often moves too quickly, I find joy in slowing down long enough to appreciate the craftsmanship, beauty, and stories of the past in each curated piece. My hope is that you will find something that inspires you as it did me, seeing not just what it is, but what it has been—and what it can become. Beauty is worth preserving. What began as a simple interest in vintage treasures has become something much more meaningful. During a difficult season of life, I unexpectedly discovered peace in searching for forgotten pieces that still had so much life left to give. There is something incredibly rewarding about finding an overlooked treasure, carefully restoring its beauty, and imagining the story it has carried through the decades.
Every vintage piece has lived a life before it reaches us, and I love imagining the people, homes, and memories connected to it. While we’ll never know every story, I hope each piece begins an entirely new one with its next owner.
Every item in my shop is personally hand-selected. I spend countless hours researching makers, patterns, history, rarity, and collectibility to offer pieces that are beautiful, authentic, and often difficult to find. I pay close attention to condition and quality, carefully inspecting every item for damage and honestly describing any imperfections. Whenever possible, I seek out exceptional examples that collectors and vintage lovers will be proud to own.
My care doesn’t end once a piece is found. Each item is transported carefully, thoroughly cleaned using the safest methods appropriate for its material, professionally photographed to highlight its true beauty, thoughtfully researched, accurately described, and fairly priced. I believe every listing should honor the craftsmanship of the piece itself while giving you confidence in exactly what you’re purchasing. When your order is placed, I continue treating it as though it were my own.
